Pricing And Release Date Of Samsung Galaxy Tab
Unfortunately, no official announcement has yet come out about the release of the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Tab. The 7″ version is rumored to go on sale on November 14,2010, with the 11″ version coming out in 2011, but this has not yet been confirmed. It will be available on all 4 major cell carriers in the US (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile), as well as on a number of others worldwide. The price is expected to be $649, with a $50 rebate. It will most likely be only $399 with a 2-year contract. The iPad, by comparison, ranges from $499 to $829. The price is high, but not unreasonable, and its consistent with the iPad, which is currently the only real product in the mobile tablet market. Unfortunately, none of this has been confirmed yet, but these rumors are now considered to be pretty official.
There has been a lot of details leaked about the Galaxy Tab, so let’s discuss it a bit. This will be an Android-based tablet, and is the first of its kind to come to market.
