The LG Optimus Pad – LG’s Take On Tablet Technology
LG’s Optimus series has create a number of smartphones that come with features and technology never before seen in the mobile phone world. However, this popular series does not only have smartphones in its roster. It has now created its own tablet PC with the LG Optimus Pad.
Tablets are not new to us. We first saw its potential and features we never thought possible with Apple’s iPad. Soon after, Samsung released its tablet that is fully integrated for web integrity with the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Blackberry astounded us all with its dual-core tablet the Blackberry Playbook. This 2011, Motorola announced that it too was going to release the Motorola Atrix that came with the same processing power of the Playbook. Now, LG followed suit with its take on tablet technology with the Pad.
Aside from the dual-core processor this tablet comes with, it comes with other features that are as impressive. One of these features a primary and secondary camera optimized for better video conferencing. Dual cameras are not new to the technology. However, the secondary camera on the LG Optimus Pad will surprise you. Its primary camera comes with dual imagers that will allow you to capture images and record videos in 3D.
When it comes to high-speed internet capabilities, this device will not disappoint. On a 3G network, it is capable of downloading at speeds of up to 10.2 mbps and uploading at speeds of up to 2 mbps. In addition to its 3G capabilities, it can also connect to the internet through Wi-Fi. You can make use of public hotspots or your home wireless network.
Not only does the Pad come with highly advanced features the technology has to offer; it comes with the most advanced software only Android can offer. It comes with the latest Android OS version 3.0 (Honeycomb). This Android OS is especially designed for tablet PCs. It will allow you to enjoy faster browsing, more from apps, smoother multi-tasking, and more optimized energy efficiency.
With every tablet that rolls out of the market, we seen them evolve in ways we have never thought possible. This can clearly be seen in the LG Optimus Pad.
