Tablet Pc Amd

Which processor should I get? AMD or Intel?

I am getting a new tablet PC, mainly used for the office (word, powerpoint, excel) with minimal video use (iTunes) and some pictures (adobe).
My question is…which would be better…
1) AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-64 at 2.2GHz
2) Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Duo SU7300 (1.30GHz, 800MHz FSB)

All the other specs would be the same (ram, hard drive, and graphics card)

Thanks!
I would imagine this is a bit more than 2.2Ghz v 1.3Ghz. What are other factors to consider?

well, intel is usually a little bit better than amd (but more expensive). amd is also good, right up there with intel they’re not too different. but from the two you show, the first one is better; it’s faster. 2.2 GHz vs 1.3 GHz, the amd is definitely better.

but… they’re still both pretty slow. the intel one is a definite no, and the amd one is definately a lot better… but it’s still pretty slow. nowadays anything less than a 2.6 GHz processor, maybe a 2.5 GHz, is bad. and those are minimums. i have a 1.7 GHz computer and it makes me want to stick a knife to my throat every time i use it. so i’m getting a new computer, it’s on it’s way i already ordered. … 3.0 GHz is about the average processor speed these days. and the speed of the processor i’ll be getting. there’s 3.5 GHz and greater ones out now… but they’re not really needed. a 3.0 GHz one is fine, and less expensive. a 3.5 GHz is a waste of money, unless of course you’re using it for gaming
