Few questions about the ipad?
So I’ve been wondering this for a while. Been kinda thinking of getting an ipad but still not sure yet. I got an iphone 3g right now, and was wondering if you can download stuff straight from the web like you can on your normal computer. Because I know you can’t do that on an iphone and was wondering if I need to go through the app store to get my apps or if I can just download em from the internet. Also I’ve been curious about internet. Can you use internet on the go with an ipad or use internet tethering from my iphone to my ipad? I do like the idea of an iphone or ipad but the screen on an iphone is so small sometimes and can be so slow and I sometimes think if the ipad might better. I’ve been hearing a lot of people saying the ipad is just like an oversized iphone or ipod touch. Is it? What makes the ipads better than any thing else such as a netbook, or laptop or other tablet PCs or my iphone? Also does the ipad support Flash? My iphone doesn’t 
It is basically a large iPod Touch. You still have to buy apps from the App Store like on the iPhone. The iPad is not better than any netbook or laptop since you have about 5x the power in a notebook over the iPad. No iOS devices support Flash at the moment, so you’ll “miss out” on that. The iPad has 3G capabilities, so there would be internet “on-the-go” like you mentioned. There is nothing special about the iPad other than the fact that it made tablets popular. You’re better off buying a laptop for the same price.
