Pen Tablet Pc Wacom

pen sensitivity on Wacom Bamboo tablet?

I recently bought a wacom bamboo tablet, however I’m not getting any pen sensitivity. Now I, very much wanting this, have used it on my home computer with vista and PSE6, my Mac (also with PSE6) and VERY briefly with the school’s windows and PSCS2.

So, how to I turn on, or activate, or whathaveyou this feature? Is it because I’m working in Elements?

Oh, and if instructions for if I need to go somewhere (in the computer) could be for MAC that’d be much appreciated (I use mostly my new mac, but am still transitioning, so I don’t know all the ins and outs of where things are to their PC equivalents yet)
* I was just reading something where someone said they didn’t get the sensitivity until they installed the CD that came with the tablet. Could this be my problem? I didn’t put in the disk because I read where I bought it you could just plug it in a go. Should I dig up my CD?

You need to install the drivers. You can use the cd, or just search for them online. I’ve noticed that the drivers don’t always load, and I often have to re-install them (about 3 or 4 times a year – I use my Wacom Intuous 3 tablet every day at work). Drivers (the files that come on the CD) are a HUGE thing with any tools that you plug in to your computer, and you will encounter the problem again and again if you are doing computer art work.

Aside from that, there should be settings in the control panel (on a PC) that allow you to do some fine tuning.
